I'm new to this forum and looking for a little bit of help.
I have not long moved into a new home that is fitted with a Worcester green star RI boiler and hot water tank.
The hot water is working fine on the timer switch but as soon as i started to put the heating on I had an issue, the boiler becomes intermittant. It clikcs like it is about to come on (fire up) but then just keeps clicking, then the blue light starts to flash and you have to turn the knob to reset the boiler. Some days (like this evening) the heating wint come on at all, the boiler just clicks repeatedly until I switch the heating off at the timer switch other times like this morning it came on fine, no problems.
I've tried running the heating without the water but I get the same problem, yet the water without the heater works perfectly.
Can anyone give me any idea what it might be?
