The timer has packed up on our Worcester boiler.

Looking to replace. Any recommendations for a replacement. Looks like the MT10 is still available but I'm looking to replace the mechanical wall thermostat with a programmable type

Cheers

Yes, go with a programmable type. Is it the timer that’s broken or the on/off switch? No recommended replacements I know of only the same type. Not a diy job, as removing the cover requires a critical safety check afterwards as it forms part of the combustion circuit.

It's working ok if I leave it set to on and just use the wall thermostat so I'm guessing it's the timer. Just trying to find a good programmer to replace it
If there's an existing stat, what is it, could.you show us the wiring behind it?
A modern smart stat, or receiver could replace the existing stat and include the functionality of the time switch, without having to remove the boiler cover.
Just leave the MT10 set to permanently on.

I haven't took it apart yet but it's a conventional Drayton thermostat
