High frequency, I hope, if any rotating machinery will be used in the workshop.

using a double two way switch,
A double?

Just the one?

Doesn't need to be 2-way, but you can use a 2-way as a 1-way.

There's more than just that to become sure of.

You need to design the circuit properly taking into account the current carrying capacity of the cable given its installation method, volt drop and R1+R2 value.

New circuits need testing for continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and loop impedance.

And you need to apply for Building Regulations approval for them before you start.

Thats why im asking for some help.
When i say a workshop i just mean a very large shed. here is what i have so far. from the house consumer unit 4mm armoured cable into the shed with a new rcd consumer unit. i have 4 double 36w flourescent units a 50 meter roll of 1.5mm twin and earth cable and a 10 amp double 2 way surface mounted light switch.
