work placements with boiler manufactures

Im a qualified plumber who has just completed my gas papers and i was just worndering does anyone know would gas boiler manufactures such as the likes of vokera take on qualified people to work for them for free of charge with there service engineers so that they can gain experence in the field of the service and repair work because for one there is no jobs out there with anyone and i am not stupid enough to go out and do this type of work without gaining a couple of years experence under the wing of an expert.

To my uncertain knowledge Anto, they don't take people on like that. I know times are tough in Eire, but would you not be better trying to get a start with a firm that does Service type work. Experience is the only way to go and in at the deep end is sometimes the best way.
