Hi

My son has just done some baking and used a knife on the kitchen workbench which is black textured MDF ( wood like theme ). There are a few scratches, non of which are deep, you can barely just feel them when running your finger over. Anyone know what the best way of removing these, or even making them less visible?

Thanks

Steve

I might be tempted to try some coloured car polish as used to cover scratches on cars. I would try some on a bit that wont show, off cut or scrap material first. I would also give your son a sound thrashing so he remembers to use a cutting board ;)

Agree with @woodman-46

My Mrs blew holes in the worktop, Colorfill made them almost invisible, and it's safe with food. Also used when joining worktops to help hide and seal the joint.

Thanks to all for your responses.

I've ordered black and graphite colorfill as couldnt work out which one would be best. I've got the offcuts of the worktops in my garage so will cut into them and try to see which one is best.

Cheers

Steve
