When trying out your new acquisition on some gash bits of worktop (prior to joining the Real Thing) do remember to let the cutter stop rotating before lifting the router from the template. This will prevent you taking a chunk out of one of the template guide edges.......which is going to be tricky to repair (I'm thinking body filler and careful sanding.....) :(

Been there done that

Many expletives

Body filler might work getting bang straight is a must.

For me gave me an excuse to buy a newer better quality one

no personal experience but everything ive heard abpout nicking templates is once they are damaged even a tiny bit then throw the template. dont risk it esp if your a professional.

I have a suspicion you're right but I'll give it a go (got some scrap to play with before getting onto expensive stuff) :)
