What do you think of this current squad? Are they going to win the World Cup? Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if they failed to reach the quarter finals.
They are talentless on the whole and carrying injuries to the few key players that they have.

Yes but in this case I can't see a team that stands any chance of winning anything. They are all injured.

They have an easy group, so progression from there should not be a problem.
Some of the old campaigner are not as good as they have been in the past.
ie Germany, Italy, Argentina, France...
The condition should suit, Spain are the standout team but often fail to show their potential in world cup tournaments.
Just a shame England don't have one more class forward and a creative midfielder.
I think they have a cracking chance though, but get some of the young blood in and drop Ferdinand, he's not fit and should not be Capt.

I wonder if one of the African nations will come through and win it,climate wise its approaching winter there now so it should suit a Northern hemisphere country.Who knows it might be our turn again as long as Rooney stays fit I think we have a chance,if the Germans and or penalties don't come into play.I,m getting fed up telling the younger lads at work that I might be old and bald but have seen England win the world cup you haven't,so come on in-ger-lan.
