15mm gap between brickwork of extension (right of image) and of old building (left of image). Been there 15year already and isn't causing an issue. It just bothers me aesthetically.
Is it likely that this gap is necessary for ventilation of the cavity perhaps, or can I fill it?
Would you go for mortar, or an exterior caulk?
