Yeah, I know. I should be getting to mae pit before I go over this tired phase and start feeling awake again so I won't be able to sleep, but when I do eventually fall asleep wake up feeling awful tomorrow....
 
Not has reminded me of an observation I've made...

I'm 25 now... but up until I was 23 I could stay out till all hours during the week, and just make up for it at the weekend. I could have 4 hours during the week but then sleep until 4pm at the weekend, that sort of thing!

But now I can't. I have to sleep at least 7 hours and I can't sleep more than 9. I mentioned it to a few mates and they find the same thing.

How can sleeping habits change so quickly? I wouldn't mind if it was a gradual change and I was about 50 or so. :LOL:

Yeah, I can relate to this. It's called 'getting old' :cry:
 
there is nothing gradual at 50.

i use to get away with 6 hours sleep per night and sleep most of satday. now, i end up fallin asleep for a few hours after work. the other week i slept from around 4.30PM friday to 11AM satday
 
I used to be a second shift person work 3-11pm--on my off days I slept 10-12 hrs....for years. Now, I work day shift and get up every morning at 3 am. Even on days that I don't work, I still get up at 3 without an alarm-even if I want to sleep longer, I can't. :(

I do this. more often than not, i am up at 5am with my alarm clock. On my days off, i still awaken at about 5:10! I am used to getting up early.
