Hi could anyone let me know how you can tell when already fitted (in use) the difference between XLPE and PVC armoured SWA cable, any tell tale signs?

Some also have XLPE embossed on the side, and a more round the houses route is the diameter of the cable.Some companies tech brochures have the diameters of specific cables in them (pvc/xlpe 2,3,4 core)
But as a first stop use spark123's route as the BS no. should always be on there

have found the BS numbers on both my 16mm 2 core and 6mm 2 core and pleased to note they are BS 5467, just wanted to know the cable ratings for each, before derating factors of course!
