I just ordered a danfoss heat share pack (the y plan) it just arrived but on opening it, they've sent an S plan kit instead.

Is there any advantage to either system - as I could see they perform exactly the same task.

I went for the y plan as it was £20 cheaper.

Should I just install the S plan or should I send it back for the Y plan?

Cheers

Some people say that you get a better flow rate to both heating and hot water with an 'S' plan, some say there is no difference.

You should install an automatic bypass with an 'S' plan that you wouldn't probably need with a 'Y' plan.

Thanks for the reply - I have contacted them asking to replace it, looking at it, the Y plan will be a lot easier to fit in with the current pipe work.
