Yale 6400 PIR sensor issue

Hi

I was hoping someone could help

Have installed a Yale 6400 and very pleased with it. However, I have an upstairs PIR that doesn't set the alarm off, but it is set to Burglar in the settings and when I do a walk test it sees it without a problem. However, Alarm set, walk past it, wave at it, etc, and nothing. But walking downstairs to the control unit passes another PIR which does trigger the alarm.

Anyone else come across this?

Hi John - no, not using Home setting.

From reading more about it in the manual it may be that the PIR has tripped into sleep mode and I need to wait longer after setting the alarm before testing it. Something to try tomorrow
