Yale ENA-Kit2 Smart Alarm Message Problem

I have the yale ENA-Kit2 but when I record a message and play it back there is no sounds. I have also set the alarm off and when i receive a call from the unit the phone call is silent. The microphone on the unit is working I have dialled it and works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The process I used is hit ok on address after the tone I speak then press ok. I then set the burglar message using the same process.
