Hi, I wonder if anyone has experience with these alarms, the instructions don't seem to cover my problem.
I had the power off at home as I was changing some sockets and doing some repairs.
The power was off for about 3 hours. After switching the power back on, the light is illuminated orange. I entered my PIN and cleared the faults which I expected to do, but it seems the battery in the control unit is depleted.
The Orange light stays on and I keep clearing the same fault 'Low Battery Control Unit'.
I cannot set the alarm, the three buttons (set, part set & unset) light up red amber and green, and the display says Low Battery Control Unit and the system gives a warning beep.
I understand the internal battery wouldn't last forever and the system is a few years old, but I thought that the system would still be able to set with the mains power connected. Also, when I connect and disconnect the mains power there is no indication on the control panel making me think that there is possibly something else wrong - wouldn't the internal battery recharge, is the mains adapter at fault?
