Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can help... we recently wallpapered a room with new lining paper and then painted with just one coat of paint before realising it was silk rather than matt which we ideally want. I've read the other posts on this forum about the problems caused by painting over silk with matt paint.
Do you think it would be likely that these problems of cracking will occur if we now add a couple of coats of matt on top of this, given that we've only done one (fairly uneven!) coat? If so would your advice be to sand this down gently?
I'd appreciate any advice... Thanks!
