"For Reference" isn't working very well.

References are things you look up LAST.
We need people to "LOOK HERE FIRST" and I suggest that's what it should be renamed - or posts shifted to a new thread called that, or FAQ, or "FAQ and For Reference" to keep continuity.

Because I'm FAQd off with telling people to look there!

Maybe every time someone asks a FAQ, we should reply

"The answer is here but the mods have hidden it"?

Just start a new sticky thread called FAQ's and transfer from "For Reference" all the posts which would be better in "FAQ's".
