ZANNUSSI FL 1082 STUCK CYCLE

When I click on a wash cycle (g) the cycyle begins, then as the dial just passes "H" the machine stops and the power light goes out.

If I move the dial on a couple of clicks the machine powers up again and continues as normal

any ideas.

ps I inserted a new Dial knob recently which had broken

if the problem started after the knew knob fitted its one of 2 things

knob in wrong place, or wrong knob

when i worked for hp a customer broke the knob off, i said i may have one in the van, her face when i brought in a big bag full of them, they look the same, but the settings for differnt models are in differnt places, i had to order the correct knob for her m/c

did you have to change the inner or outer knob? If it was the inner then Breezer is right, it's not fitted correctly and the outer dial is showing the wrong program.
