zanussi 1050 problem

Hi

My Zanussi was working fine today but when I put another wash on I discovered a problem. I took the washing out after the cycle and it was soaking wet.

I tried several cycles but although I can hear the motor and the water drains the drum is not turning at all. I wondered if it is just a broken belt or something simple.

If I wasn't back to work tomorrow I could investigate further but the next day I will have time to play about is Friday. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Take the lid off and check the belt. If that's ok, check the carbon brushes in the motor.
