Help,pleaseeee!
Got the above m/c which started making a funny noise whilst spinning. Closer inspection I could see sparks coming from underneath. The faster it spun the faster it sparked! After one more essential wash it has now stopped, any ideas anybody

Sounds like the carbon brushes on the motor.

Unplug the machine and titl is backwords so you can get underneath from the front.

On the motor you'll see the carbons, in a black holder, 1 either side of the motor with a wire going to each.

Remove the 2 screws holding each carbon in place and you'll find they are worn.

Buy a new pair and replace the same way you removed, should now spin fine.

haveing kinda same problem , would like to know if this would cause all lights in front light up before i start pulling it apart ty in advance
