Hello,
The washer (ZWF 1421W 3 yrs old) made some horrendous noises last night during it's final spin. The door seal was half-way down the door window, on further inspection the counterweight has eaten it's way through the plastic outer tub and dropped off it's mounts.
I've taken the top off the machine and noticed that there are three mounting holes per single counterweight bolt. So....
1) Is it possible to rotate the counterweight and use the alternate mounting holes?
2) Other that a new door seal do I need anything else? The drum still rotates freely.
3) Do I need a new washing machine?
Many Thanks
