does the drain pump come on when you select and start a program
does it switch off after 20 or so seconds
if it does your fill valve may have failed
fill the machine by hand and see if it completes the first part of a cycle and drains (normally rinse) then pauses again.
If the drain pump keeps running you may have a leak and the flood protection may have activated
