Zanussi FJS 1425 W returns an e10 type error at start of cycle. No kinks, filters clear, water pressure good, and door operates. Water actually enters pre-wash compartment, but not the main wash compartment with detergent on std cycle. possibly solenoid on filling?? Any suggestions welcome. M/c is 5 years old so any advice on whether fixing is worth it...

I don't have the manuals to hand but I seem to remember that E10 is to do with filling problems.
Unfortunately, E10 is the code shown to the user. An engineer can further interogate the electronics to get the actual fault code.
