Hi I have a zanussi fridge freezer model zfc 47/52ff. It switches on and cools down etc then every few hours trips out all of the electrics. I have to leave it for at least an hour before I can switch it on again. It was my neighbours and they never had a problem with it. Can anyone help, please?!

If it trips your rcd there is an earth fault someplace. If you have narrowed the culprit down to the F/F & it only trips after being used for a couple of hours then there is likely a breakdown of insulation somewhere. If your rcd is in order the appliance is basically scrap. Either way you would need an electrician with suitable test equipment to confirm the fault.
