I've recently started using a Zanussi Nexus but the washing is coming out steaming hot even after a 40 degree wash. I'm obviously nervous to wash any more in case of shrinking! What could be the problem?
It's quite some time since this question, but you may like to know I had the same problem - clothes were coming out steaming hot after a rinse cycle. It turned out that the nice people at Zanussi had wrongly marked the hot and cold pipe entry points (the one with the red plastic centre is in fact the cold feed). I wonder how many people are wasting gallons of hot water with the same problem?
For the record, when looking at the front of the machine, the pipe on the left (furthest away from the programmer) is COLD.
Ugh. Just wasted half a day finding out this little gem.
