Zanussi quick,n,clean 1050 sticking mid cycle

hi , i have a zunussi quick,n,clean 1050 and it sticks mid cycle when water is filling but does not fill up drum, must go out through drain.i have to keep turning the dial round till it goes to spin, please help,many thanks tony

CHECK THAT THE DRAIN HOSE IS NOT TOO FAR DOWN THE OUTLET PIPE (ONLY NEEDS TO BE 6" ) AS THIS CAN CAUSE THE WATER TO SYPHON OUT WHILST FILLING
