Zanussi TD200 Tumble Dryer

The tumble dryer that was left for us when we moved into our house over nine years ago is, after all this time, not working problem.

The trouble is we have no manual to check what we can do.

The problem is that it has stopped spinning and started making a lound noise to boot.

Anyone know what might be the problem and what steps I would need to take?

At a guess, the belt has snapped. Once you've got it turning again you'll be able to track down the noise.

Here's where I have to diplay my ignorance for all to see!

How do I get to where the belt is and how easy would it be to fix a new one on?

Take the lid off and you'll see where the belt runs around the drum.
To be honest tumble drier belts are a nightmare to fit for the novice.
Repair man is probably your best bet.
