Zanussi washing machine not working

Hi
Can anybody help me with an issue on my Zanussi ZWI 2125 washing machine? The panel will not illuminate and I cannot switch the machine on as it appears to have no power. I have changed the plug fuse and checked the electrical socket is working properly (which it is) but still the machine will not work.
