Zanussi WJS-1397w program selecter

To begin with the door handle broke and I was told by a misfit that the only way to open it was from the inside (WRONG) In trying this I think I moved the selector program and now I don,t know how to reset it so that when I select a program it is the right one. - ANY IDEAS PLEASE
