Zanussi ZDI6053 Dishwasher Wiring Broken at Bottom of Door

Not sure what caused it...

Any ideas on best way to fix (aside from replacing wiring loom)?

Crimp on a "Butt Connector", short length of wire and another connector?

I expect I will need a short length of wire as there is no slack. I have some 1.0mm squared white flex (rated 10 amp up to 2400 watts) and 1.5mm flex (rated 16 amp 3840 watts)... can I extract a short length of the internal blue wire from inside one of these lengths of white flex and crimp?

Any ideas what the internal broken blue wire is rated for? I know it is 240 volts as tested with a multimeter.

Open to suggestions..

Regards

I would do the same as you, your wire size should be adequate, if the machine drew more than 16A it would blow the fuse.
