Zanussi ZWX1505W - machine stopped mid prog and wont reset

Hi,

As is the way with these things, the washing machine has packed in just before Christmas. The machine was running a normal program, and decided to stop midway and full of water. Cue panic and general mayhem everywhere. We have drained most of the water. The machine doesn't reset. We can turn it off and on and can select a program, but once we try to start the machine, there are a couple of click....which I think is the lock on the door releasing, ----> nothing happens except that the Start/Pause light flashes again. Help please!
Have probably left out vital information unintentionally....put it down to brain damage from the War office

It might be the interlock though this usually is evident when you can't get the machine to start initially rather than occurring part way through a program. Of course now it the symptom is just the same in that you can't get the machine to start. Easy enough to replace.

Problem turned out to be a burnt out pump and a resultant burn out of some electrics ! Parts are under warranty but we still pay the call out charge !
