Blas, i think its the 36x optical zoom.. unprecented... times 4 digital zoom is huge !! worth every penny !! (or cent !!!!)

It ain't all about 'zoom' though Martian. Being a 'Bridge' I'll bet the sensor in it is tiny. But if you want to talk about glass then again, I VERY much doubt this thing will give good results at max zoom. BUT... I'll be interested to see the reviews. I think I'll stick with my DSLR for a bit longer though.

And x4 digital zoom will look as crap as it does on every other camera. Digital 'zoom' should never be used.
