Hot & Cold TV PCB?

I'm interested to know what the hot & cold description on a TV's PSU PCB designate, is the Hot AC & the Cold DC?

Looking at the schematicI think hot reffers to the dangerous mains connected part of the circuit and cold reffers to the safe isolated part.
