I am working on a conversion project of a ground floor flat in a large victorian house. Converting the property into 2 seperate flats with own seperate entrances.
I would like to create a garden flat with a main entrance into a kitchen which would be the best use of space. The kitchen would then enter into a hallway (not an entrance hall) to access the lounge and other habital rooms.
The kitchen would be the main access route, however every room is less than 4.5m from the ground and each window could be an emergency exit in the event of fire.
Would this pass part B?
