A unique showcase for British brands has announced details of its
annual London event, which celebrates all that is beautifully made in
the UK.
Best of Britannia, set to take place on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13, will present items ranging British heritage products to new innovations.
The Best of Britannia event platforms, and developing online retail site, feature the country’s brightest brands in interiors, art, fashion, food and drink, ceramics, jewellery, cycling and motoring.
This year’s event will be held within The Old Truman Brewery, East London’s revolutionary arts and media quarter, home to a hive of creative businesses, exclusive independent shops, galleries, markets, bars and restaurants.
Across the two days in October trade buyers, press and consumers will be able to meet the makers face-to-face, hear their stories, watch product being honed and crafted and browse and buy their wares in the former Boiler House of the Brewery – truly an engine room driving the very best in British design and manufacturing.
Since 2012, Best of Britannia has featured more than 600 brands, the majority making their first foray into promotion via a trade/consumer show. It continues to collaborate with, support and take inspiration from its represented brands throughout the year via social media and regular newsletters.
Its ever-growing database of trade contacts and consumers is kept up to date with the latest product announcements and news stories providing an all-year-round conduit for the BOB collective with its customers.
British brands exhibiting at Best of Britannia London 2017, ambassadors, special guests and entertainment will be announced over the coming months. At previous events BOB has been championed by ambassadors including Deborah Meaden, Wayne Hemingway MBE, Patrick Grant and June Sarpong and visited by industry dignitaries including Mary Portas, Sir Harold Tillman and Lord Digby Jones.
