The Totally DIY & Tools show is getting a makeover of its own when it returns in 2018.
This year’s show, held on February 14-15 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, featured 80 exhibitors.
More are expected to attend the Ricoh next year, when the event becomes known as the National DIY Show. It is due to be held in June.
The show will have the same retail trade DIY and builders’ merchant visitor base, with the Sunday opening enabling high street hardware and homeware retailers to attend without losing weekday business time. The show will also double in size.
“Our focus over the last 20 years has been on providing innovative and international products for independent retailers. Returning to a Sunday show opening we are responding to demands from this key section of our visitors,” said event manager Lucyanne Matthews.
“The new show will feature various zones and plans are moving ahead towards a special new forum for the trade. More detail will be announced shortly.”
