Badly adjusted or loose cone nuts can cause unnecessary wear and damage to both the wheel bearings and inner hub components. These super slim cone spanners allow for the cone nuts to be tightened hard up against the axle lock nuts so that they don't then come undone taking the hub bearings back out of adjustment.
