Zion and the Art of Armageddon

Hamas stops aid trucks.
Bizarre action.
Rafar is the main aid crossing. Kerem Shalom was for goods.. It's effectively on 3 boarders and had been for goods both in and out of Gaza. It switched to aid at some point to increase the number of trucks that could go in due to inspections. ~Dec, It should have allowed 200 a day+ with the Rafar crossing used as well, UN counted 190 during April. 200 not seen as enough anyway.

Blinken visited Kerem. Nearest he has been to Gaza. Seems he could hear firing etc. A comment on a Reuters report
Israeli officials can inspect 55 trucks every hour at Kerem Shalom and work from morning to sunset, said Shimon Freedman, international media spokesperson for COGAT, an Israeli Defense Ministry agency tasked with coordinating aid deliveries into Palestinian territories.
Freedman said the bottleneck on aid deliveries was inside Gaza, not on the Israeli side.
At least 26 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were waiting by the road just outside the Kerem Shalom inspection point waiting to enter. A Reuters witness also saw dozens of military vehicles and tanks on a field next to the road leading up to Kerem Shalom.

This is also the crossing where Israeli protesters cause problems. They have said that they have done something about that,

Seems to be more a CIA visit Various theories. One is that Qatar will drop out handling negotiations.Egpt - I would have thought not as they take US aid. This view comes bout as discussions will be about what comes next.

They didn't look much like police Maybe the propaganda dept what ever it's called. Stuff was taken away but no comments about who they were. Usual jewish caps present more without.

All wars violate human rights one way or the other
Israel has loads of them that relate to what an ocupying country can get up to in the ones they occupy, They have also done rather well in the same general area before the 67 war before they occupied anywhere.

This is why there is interest in finding a better solution so that there will be no more uprisings, The attempts could turn out to be futile That will just extend the time until the next problems crop up,

The US has ordered Qatar to throw out the Hamas leaders if Hamas s**t on the current peace talks.

Actually we don't really know what they were aimed at or hit apart from one Israeli building not related to the crossing.
Seems HAMAS have said military target but they would.

Something along that fits in with rumours but might be best to wait and see. Qatar did mention a degree of unhappiness about being involved in the negotiations some many weeks ago. That might relate to the Arab League view. That became clearer in a recent economic meeting with a number of countries there.

And so the evacuation of Rafah begins. The Palestinians really are beyond help.

Just the east of Rafar which may mean the crossing can't be used anyway. Not clear as it seems Israel already has a military zone in Gaza around this crossing. The attack bought on by the rockets which I believe are more like mortars than the usual type. The attack it seems will be of the extreme type and may have started with a few demo's. Early news though.

AlJ interviewed a bloke that thinks HAMAS should accept the Egypt plan and rely on US, Egypt and Qatar efforts to end the war anyway in the "period of peace". HAMAS want guarantees so if say the US said we will make it so they would say yes. This person also mention deaths and injuries due to the rocket attack. All IDF.

HAMAS politicians out of Qatar. Pass, Usual idea is that talks channel must be available as for instance they are with Iran. Taliban proving more difficult due to their attitude concerning the US.
