Can anyone offer any help with my Hive underfloor heating in my kitchen please?
I have two hive zones. One for the house and one for the UFH in the kitchen.
The UFH has a separate Hive receiver next to the UFH manifold and this is triggered by a Hive thermostat in the kitchen.
When I boost...
Afternoon,
I recently decided to install Hive active heating (thermostat + receiver + hub) as the old thermostat was making a buzzing noise. I managed to set it up and HW works fine, but the old room stat (which itself is disconnected now) or rather it's existing wiring which is still connected...
Hi all, I thought I had this all wired up correctly but it's not working. Images attached are the hive receiver wired in to what was previously the wires for old fashioned basic thermostats. Then the inside of the boiler and a plug that was connected to an old timer inside the boiler.
If...
I recently installed a Hive Active Wireless Heating package, but am having trouble with the system communicating with my combi boiler and would really appreciate some help.
I'm not a certified electrician or plumber, but electrically competent, and think I'm 90% of the way there, but Hive won't...
I see a lot of people on eBay selling only the receiver for their Hive Active Heating without the thermostat. Assuming I have the hub, does this actually work? Can the heating be controlled with the phone app alone? What happens if e.g. the thermostat breaks or runs out of batteries?
Sorry, I really have spent about an hour looking online for the answer and just can't find anything.
Boiler = Worcester Greenstar 28i (dial/timer in the middle)
Old thermostat = Siemens Landis & Staefa RA02
New Thermostat = Hive single chanel active heating.
The old thermostat is in another...

I have a Greenstar 36CDi combi boiler with a Hive (single channel) thermostat. There are two circuits, downstairs & upstairs - the Hive controls downstairs and it works correctly.
We don't use the heating that much upstairs, maybe boost it for 30 mins every now and then.
I presume I could...
Hi,
I have today wired up the Hive thermostat, receiver and hub.
Connected up the wires how they were on the old receiver and now the boiler is not working. Works from the main thermostat to receiver, but doesn’t action the boiler.
Have now taken off the plate on the boiler and can see...

Hi all,
I bought a Hive active heating system to replace the current set up which is the EPH wireless receiver WRS1i for my Worcester Combi boiler. I thought (perhaps stupidly) that the set up would be easy and I could avoid a BG install! When I opened the EPH receiver I realised I'm actually...
