Hello everyone,
I am trying to work out how to safely remove this concrete waste collar, stick a 250mm deep 1m wide vanity unit on the wall behind and replace the toilet with a new back-to-wall toilet and hidden cistern.
Any advice on how I go about this and if I can likely get the new cistern...
My lounge was fitted with high-quality engineered wood flooring. The floor was laid on an acoustic underlay and each board is firmly locked side, back and front to adjacent boards by tongue and grooves.
After less than a year, one of the boards developed a bulge at its edge, which became raised...

Hi all,
First time posting here so please excuse incompetence.
We bought a DEWALT DCD776 to help with our home renovation. It's been through some light to medium work so far and has generally been really good to use. Recently, we have found that inserting screws (any type) has been challenging...
Hi,
so recently my electric shower started running lukewarm at settings where it would usually run nice and hot.
To get it to run hot, it has to be turned to higher settings, but with that, the water pressure drops significantly.
I’ve also noticed that the half power light is no longer lit...
I have a cash only account with howdens, I installed a kitchen roughly 6 months ago for a client which had delivery problems and pricing issues.
The Customer PAID for the kitchen with their card/credit.
Since then the credit company has withheld 1100 from howdens and has refunded the customer...
I decided to decorate the small box bedroom in my house as it had not been done for years!
As a first step I stripped and sanded the bedroom door smooth with an electric sander after having to scrape some bits. The door I think is wood with a type of hardboard covering. The house was built in...

Hi, please can someone help me here. I’ve had my garage converted to a kitchen. Floor was lower in the garage compared to the level of the existing house. Anyway, I am having an island with a downdraft extractor. I have UFH installed and the builder has forgotten to put in the ducting for the...
I have a 2017 Polo GTi, last winter I realised it took a while to heat up inside the car (around 10 minutes of actual driving), fast forward 6 months and the car started loosing coolant and went in for a warranty repair (replaced thermostat housing) which fixed the leak.
Since the cold weather...
I am posting this because I am having problems which seem slightly different from all other Optimyst problems I've read about here
My Fire is a 10-year-old Charlotte CRT20BR and has the blue tank and grey sump, and it is only ever used for the visual effect, never for heating. In all those...
Hi I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a problem with my bathroom light which has been fine for the last 4 years.

Hello all,
So this is my first post and I need some advice as I think this is probably an obvious mistake I'm making so I'm hoping someone should be able to help! I'll try and keep this as simple as possible and I've attached a few photos for clarity! In short this is the situation.

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the dishwasher candy cdcf 6. When I turn on the dishwasher, LED keeps blinking in the glass state. I also hear a beep every 30 seconds. Maybe someone has faced with this problem? Thanks for any reply.
The Selco system is pants; it only recognises 'in stock' and 'not in stock': so if a depot only has 1 of an item in stock at your chosen depot it will let you buy 22 if that's the amount required. There is no '21 of this item only available for next day delivery' message option in their online...

I had a plasterer in a while back and now that the skirting needs to go on I find that the bottom edge is flared out, like the bell along the bottom of external render but not as pronounced. The new skirting will have quite a gap along the top if I fix it upright and will look quite odd if I...
