Environmental protesters such as those blocking bridges in central London have received taxpayers' money to fund their activities

Can you demonstrate the truth of your claim?

In a report titled "Defunding Politically Motivated Campaigns" the Conservative Way Forward group detail how taxpayers' money is wasted on politically motivated groups, charities, projects and quangoes; waste which is making us poorer, less productive and more divided. The report suggests savings amounting to £7 billions.

Conservative Way Forward submitted 6,000 freedom of information requests to organisations such as universities, councils, charities and Government departments about their accounts and employees.

Much waste goes on "EDI" - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, i.e. telling us that we are all racists. Wigan council for example, has 8 EDI employees on salaries totaling £345,000 pa whilst the borough is said to be one of the most deprived in the country.

Environmental protesters such as those blocking bridges in central London have received taxpayers' money to fund their activities through something called UK Health Alliance for Climate Change, an organisation that has received £110 millions of public money since 2017.

The report was released yesterday...

Andy did you know that Conservativewayforward is just a propaganda site, it was set up by ERG member Steve baker

it will be full of bolox

Well at least (on paper) £350m a week has been 'saved' by not using that non existent 'brexit bonus' to fund the NHS

It may or not be true, but the link posted previously was nonsense. But I haven't said it's all rubbish, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. It may or may not be the best thing for industry since electricity, honestly it's not something that worries me either way.

Diversity is just an industry, there are armies of consultants who earn a living from regurgitating this stuff. McKinsey has a rather big financial interest in earning money from it. Obviously they like their customers to think it's going to benefit them, and financially is a good incentive for any company.

If true then what is the mechanism by which diversity makes companies more successful? Are all minorities better workers than the majority?

TO THE GOLDFISH who say that this is a relatively small amount of money compared to other, much larger Government wastes of taxpayers' money: The magnitude is not the point; all this waste is wrong and would not happen if we had a proper, tax payer-only, accountable democracy. And to those who want to turn it into the usual Labour vs Tories contest: I hate both parties; both are communist and both need to be driven out.

I have already covered, in great detail, the bigger cons; just do an Advanced Search on:

7 billion? Waste? pfft. Bozza wasted £37 billion on a useless track and trace app in the blink of an eye. Tip of the iceberg.
Wasted?

No it wasn't. It was money well spent, diverted to poor, starving Tory chums.

Comments made by Ashby's MP described as "dangerous" over the coronavirus vaccine have led to calls for an apology. Andrew Bridgen has come under fire after he made comments about the mRNA vaccines as being "experimental", which opponents say are blatantly untrue.
Mr Bridgen was talking about the recent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) decision to authorise a vaccine made by Pfizer and BioNTech using mRNA technology for children aged six months to four years. The MP called on PM Rishi Sunak to overturn the decision by the MHRA, which he described as being funded by "big-pharma", reports LeicestershireLive.

Rent-a-gob is echoing claims made by anti-vax Republicans in the U.S, notably Ron de Santis who made simliar claims recently, flanked by the health officials for the State of Florida who gave it a sheen of credibility until it was pointed out they have no qualifications in virology or the effectiveness of vaccines.
