1/2 way light switch relacement

please advise which wires go where given the following:new switch plate has 2 modules side by side - vertical terminals labeled L1 - C - L2
Original wired terminals are: for 2way module - red to bottom left hole & black to bottom right
for 1way - red to centre top with black to bottom right,bottom left not used
a red loop wire runs between the 2 modules - from centre top(2way) to centre top(1way)

same as your existing switch.

your switch with L1 and L2 is just the same but labled different, L1 is one way L2 is two way and c is common

(but they have recently changed it L2 used to be one way)

breezer thanks for your prompt response,however the landing switch will only operate(off/on) when the downstairs switch is on(wired black/common & red/L2)
landing switch is wired - red/L2 & black/common with a seperate red to L1

please advise

You do not mention the link "a red loop wire runs between the 2 modules - from centre top(2way) to centre top(1way)"

the landing light is missing a live, which is what the link supplied
