It's like wrapping tape around the hosepipe with a pinhole you've wrapped around a burst copper pipe.
Overscan on modern TVs is a nasty hack and shrinking your desktop to fit is just as bad. Setting the TV not to overscan is the only proper way to do it.
well I didnt just suggest it to fix that, its much better than the windows software for controlling dual screens, it has a lot more features and the use of shortcuts and profiles is very useful
