15mm to 10mm reducers

hello,

I've got 10mm microbore pipe to my Rads, and just fitting a towel radiator.
Bought some reducers - two piece brass type, without olives from screwfix

Should these be tightened like a 'normal compression' with olive, and should i use lsx sealer all around the reducer or none, or just on the cone parts of it?

Read somewhere that these only work if the microbore is absolutely bang in-line with the fitting?

No olive needed.

Tighten nut till you hear/feel fitting snap. Tighten a bit more and jobs done.

It doesn't have an olive, and though it feels like a one pice it's actually two pieces...

Ok, do i need to use lsx, or will it be ok without ?

It normal breaks in to 2 pieces when you tighten nut, the smaller ring the becomes the olive.

You could use some jointing paste or Lsx if you want, wont do any harm.
