I have 2 small damp patches one under window above skirting board and one behind chair on the same wall. My house is quite humid and I have dried clothing on rads in past. I can get this even on a hot day. The house has cavity wall insulation which was fitted before I moved in.

What is the floor construction?

Is there anything against the wall on the outside?

How long has it been this way?

Are there any leaking drains nearby outside?

Nothing against wall outside, just driveway.
Over the last year it's been like this.
Drains are away from house however I did have overflowing gutter in this corner of house which was sorted around April time.

Could be that there is still water in the bricks/wall and needs time to dry out after fixing the gutter....

Hope it's just that, I thought it could be condensation as house is very humid.

If you continue to drape wet washing inside the house, you will create condensation, damp and mould.

Does your bathroom have an effective extractor fan?

Stand back and take a wide pic of the entire wall, side to side and floor to ceiling.

Also photos above, under and around the window, in case of gaps. Is it a bay window?

Is it a wooden floor?

No extraction fan I have to open window.
Wooden floor but I checked under carpet and it's dry. It's not a bay window and I don't think there are gaps. There is an airbrick outside close this and when gutter overflowed it splash from my Neighbors wall near to airbrick.

Pictures of the wall would help. Inside and out.

Please show us the foot of the wall, and the ground or paving against it, including any drains or downpipes and the airbrick

And the entire inside wall.

That's the airbrick, water hit the wall to the left. Nearest down pipe is on the right hand wall past the steps.I will take some more pics. The inside picture the cables is to the left of this air brick. There are also 2 other airs on this wall. You will be able to see them if you can zoom in on other pic.
