2 Grand for new knob

That's a grey version of the more common blue knob I expect! Some of them are white too I think! Not sure what I did wth the last one I took out - floor of the van perhaps...

Sure Chris?, looks like the brown one to me....but then my computers not too hot on colours.

Well obviously I wouldn't make a mistake : perhaps you aren't looking close enough?

Sorry guys, darks clouds and poor light this morning played
havock with the digi camera.
Think the picture does have a slight tinge of purple.

But my broken knob is definitely Brown.
but i'm not fussy I will take any colour as long as it fits.

Er no, the knob is that colour because I made it so to confuse everyone since I'd called it grey... the previous pic does show it brown. Some of them are white - possibly all the same underneath, possiby not!

Have you found a knob yet? I was browsing my Rapid catalogue today, they have a variety to fit 6mm and 0.25 inch shaft with grubscrew fixing, also these on clearance:

until I get back.

Hopefully nice and brown to match my broken knob
