I tried to replace a two way switch in my hallway with a double dimmer switch and wired it up as follows - L1 blue, L2 yellow, brown - common and in the second gang red in L1 and red in common. I didthis as it was the way the switch was wired before. It seemed to work apart from one dimmer controls both lights!
I then went to the upstairs switch and noticed that that was not working properly either. You can only use the upstairs light when it is turned on first by the downstairs light. The upstairs light is wired L1 = red and blue, L2 = yellow and brown and red in the common. I have tried many combinations and cannot work it out.
Someone help me please!!!!!!
