Hello.
I have a rather strange starting issue with my Nissan. From my diagnosis I am getting too much fuel. Not giving any codes. From other forums I tried pulling the fuel pump fuse cranking it over, then fuse back in. After several attempts it then it started. What I have done now is put a switch in the fuel pump wiring to save me getting on my hands and knees. It will start in several ways now. Switch off pump, crank it over to clear fuel. Switch pump on then it might start. Or Crank it over with the pump on, turn the pump off whist still cranking then as it clears the fuel it will jerk and fire up then switch the pump on. Sometimes these methods work straight away, sometimes it may take a few minutes trying both to get the old girl to fire. Once its running the car runs fine. Idle drops low sometimes but stays running. Has spark, has fuel & compression is good. In the morning I am parked on a hill so I crank it over with fuel on then clutch start it ok.
Any advice most appreciated
