Hello,

I'm about to get quotes on a new central heating and hot water installation in my house which we are modernising.

I have black mdpe supplying the house - achieving 20 litres per minute with a pressure of 5 bar. (As measured by the water board). It would be possible to upgrade, but I'd rather avoid this unless I really have to.

The system needs to supply two bathrooms, both with showers, and a kitchen.

The architect suggested we install a megaflo unvented cylinder, however my flow appears to be on the cusp of what is acceptable for the system. I then thought that my best bet would be a worcester highflow combi. However, after speaking to two engineers I've had conflicting advice on which way to go.

Any advice / experience would be really appreciated.
