Well why are we pulling out then Aron, and why are we ignoring Syria?

And what right do we have to impose our brand of democracy on people that don't want it?

Why are we there at all?

WHY MOMMY WHYYYYY

Well why are we pulling out then Aron

Largely because we don’t want to bear the cost, partly because we have achieved a number of our goals, as linked to previously.

and why are we ignoring Syria?

We attacked the Al-Qaeda government because they toppled these two tall buildings, can't remember what they were called now?

We toppled the government and feel a responsibility to help create a new one, so pretty much nothing like Syria in any which way, pretty inane questions you are asking.

And what right do we have to impose our brand of democracy on people that don't want it?

Really, you’ve asked them that, you know they don’t want it?

We imposed leadership on them when we counter attacked them and romp stomped their government, what are you advocating joe, that we allow the Taliban to reform the government by leaving shortly after going in, that we should never have attacked them?

Why are we there at all?

Why are you asking stupid questions that have already been answered, you can’t just go in, blow up a few buildings, and walk away.

Because you will turn you back and find the same organisation back in power, or another one just like it, so we stayed to ensure that didn’t happen.

Seems to be working as well, they have a government able to fend for itself, that whilst is not great, is not a threat to the west and is at least better than before.

What, did you want rainbows and unicorns?

The CIA arranged the 'war on terror' because it gave the yanks an excuse to control the oil fields. Bin Laden was on the CIA payroll and had been for decades. He was an oil man from an oil family. Everything was set up - that's why Mohammed Atta wasn't picked up by the FBI - they were told to 'back off'.

It worked like a charm.

Besides, they attacked the wrong country - it's Pakistan that is the epicentre of the Taliban.

You are confusing Al Qaeda with the Taliban. Al Qaeda is a stateless global terrorist organisation dedicated to bringing down the West and imposing Islam on the world. They are not a government, but they are a threat to the West. The Taliban are separate groups of fighters from tribal regions from within Afghanistan and Pakistan who want the foreign invaders out of their lands. They pose no threat to the West. They are supported financially, materially and morally by the Pakistan and Saudi regimes.
They may be by Western standards an odious lot, but what right do we have to interfere. If its ok to to topple this lot we should also topple Pakistan and Saudi for supporting them. Oh and let's not forget North Korea, they are also an odious lot who are a threat to the West.

Yes yes joe, bush did it.

How do you win a war on terror.....you don't.
How do you recruit more terrorists..kill their families.
