i note on the news that three people who once lived in the UK have been returned hear spain wants one to be extradite to Spain to stand trial there, so why did the U.S.A not.send him there in first place , saving the hard pushed UK tax payer dosh. and as the others are not UK citizans but foreign subjects why are we footing there legal bill to bring then hear why not there HOME country
is there something we have not been told by the our GOVERMENT or the legal team of the unlawful combatons , or Amnesty International

someone said they've been let out for Christmas and then someone else said that they don't celebrate Christmas so in other words their exploiting our Faith for their own ends which if it was the other way round, would be a beheading offence, far worse than calling a teddy bear Jesus.

the people taking the p### out of us is there lawyer's who know how to exploit every loophole, so they can extract money from the tax payer, we should not have engaged in talks with the U.S.A. on there behalf why are there lawyers sending bills to there embassy's but thats us silly mugs and an easy touch

from what I hear the yanks are taking a lot of stick over Gitmo.

It's difficult to justify kidnapping people from foreign countries and imprisoning them indefinitely without charge or trial.

They are trying to empty it and get rid of all the prisoners so they are someone else's responsibility. Probably have the objective of getting rid of then all before George W stops being president.

I can't tell if the UK government is doing the US a favour by accepting these people. It would be very difficult for the US to say after all this time that they have insufficient evidence for a trial and let them go.

Confessions extracted under torture are not supposed to be good evidence as you can make people say anything.

if they were our people in these places, then we have a duty of care. but these guys dont come from hear, and dont want to go to there home countrys why .
if the U.S.A. SHUT there hell hole in cuba fine but dont sent the prisoners hear .we have enough of our own wot the yanks get up to is not the sole concern of just us ,why do these guys not go to the middle east why europe.
